Right from the start we are completely and totaly involved with each puppy.  At birth each is weighed and a chart is started to ensure that each is thriving.  For the first two weeks the litter and dam are monitored 24 hours a day.  This enables the puppies to stay with mom, which we feel is very important for the socialization of the puppies.  We monitor them like this for the reason that Mastiff moms are so large that they can unintentionally injure or kill the still small, helpless puppies.  We trim nails once a week.  This is important to continue.  You do not want a dog as big as a Mastiff who does not want his/her nails trimmed. The puppies are kept very clean, well fed and healthy.  Once the puppies are weaned we start putting our hand in their food while they are eating and taking food, treats and toys away from them.  This ensures that none of our puppies will have any aggression in this area.  Each puppy is given ample amounts of individual attention and love.  We have never had a shy or aggressive puppy.

If you live close enough to visit your new family member we encourage this as much as possible.  For those who cannot, we understand and still want you to be a part of you puppies life while he/she is with us, which is why we send lots of pictures, updates and are available anytime for any questions that you may have.
